Message from Sophie and Helena

“Dear friends and supporters,

We have decided to support Aid Pioneers' crucial medical shipments to Ukraine. With just 20,000 euros, we can help deliver a container filled with medical essentials worth almost half a million euros directly to the healthcare workers on the frontlines. It's amazing how such a big impact can be made with relatively small contributions!

Your support for this project is not just a donation for medical supplies. Every contribution, no matter how small, can save lives and give hope for those suffering the consequences of war.

We believe that despite the seeming powerlessness in the face of what is happening, our solidarity and commitment can make a difference. Let's prove that compassion and humanity are stronger than any conflict!”

Sophie and Helena are running for Medical shipments to Ukraine

As the Ukraine war's second anniversary nears, the critical need for medical support on the frontlines remains just as urgent now as it was when the conflict began. Aid Pioneers coordinate the delivery of critically-needed medical supplies to the frontlines, enabling healthcare professionals to save lives amidst challenging conditions. Each shipment, valued at approximately €20,000, allows Aid Pioneers to send a 40-ft container filled with medical supplies worth up to €500,000. Collaborating with local partners, Aid Pioneers ensures that only essential materials are shipped and distributed to hospitals in need. According to partner organizations in Ukraine, one shipment enables hospitals to conduct approximately 2,200 potentially life-saving treatments.

“It breaks my heart to see the war raging so close to home, where people who should be building their lives – learning, studying and pursuing their dreams – are instead struggling to survive. People who are losing their families and experiencing cruelty.

At a time when so much is happening in the world, the conflict in Ukraine sometimes fades into the background. But we must not allow those who urgently need our help to be forgotten.”

– Sophie von Rohr

“Beyond my personal goals, I feel a profound social responsibility to stand with the Ukrainians facing Russian aggression. For two years, the conflict has persisted, yet it seems to have faded from the headlines since the initial attack on 24 February 2022. However, the war is still going on and the people in Ukraine still confront enormous challenges, relying on foreign support for their medical needs.

I urge you to contribute to this cause because your support goes beyond helping me achieve a personal goal, it extends a lifeline to those in desperate need. Your generosity will provide crucial aid, support healthcare initiatives, and contribute to rebuilding lives shattered by the ongoing crisis. To contribute to the project is only a small effort, but I believe every bit helps in making a difference in their lives.”
